Therapy
I work with adults and older adolescents with a range of psychological questions, experiences, and difficulties. These often relate to:
-
Intense emotions, like anxiety, sadness, and anger
-
Interpersonal relationships (romantic, family, friendship, work etc.)
-
Trauma (complex or single-incident)
-
Self-esteem, self-worth or self-concept
-
Life adjustments/transitions inc. grief/loss and perinatal experience
-
Sexual/romantic orientation or gender identity
-
Sexuality or sexual function
-
Confused, disoriented, or chaotic thoughts
You may also seek therapy to improve your general psychological well-being; gain a better understanding of your internal world; and/or find meaning in your experiences. Regardless of your reason for seeking therapy, my primary interest is understanding you as a unique individual.

Attendance
Our work together will begin with an initial assessment phase (usually 1-3 sessions), after which time we will decide on the best way forward.
To enhance the effectiveness of therapy, I offer sessions on a weekly or fortnightly basis (weekly is preferred); I do not currently take on patients who wish to attend less frequently than fortnightly. For those wishing to engage in more in-depth psychoanalytic work, I also offer twice-weekly sessions.
Referrals & Fees
My current fee for a standard 50-minute session is $240. For those wishing to commit to longer-term therapy, I also offer alternative fee arrangements.
You do not need a referral or diagnosis to access psychotherapy and can contact me directly to organise an appointment. If you have private health insurance, your provider may offer financial support for accessing psychology.

Additionally, I welcome referrals from GPs as part of a care or management plan (including DVA). In such instances, you will be eligible to receive a full or partial rebate on a specified number of sessions per calendar year.

I also accept referrals for those receiving support under the NDIS.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information about fees and referrals.
